What is the Gospel?

The Gospel is the good news that God, in His great love, has made a way for us to be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ. It is the message of salvation — that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

To be rooted and grounded in Christ means that our faith is not superficial or temporary, but deeply established in the person and work of Jesus. It means that our identity, hope, and purpose are found in Him alone.

"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving."

The Gospel is not just the entry point of the Christian life — it is the ongoing foundation upon which we grow. As we are rooted in Christ, we are nourished by His Word, strengthened by His Spirit, and united with His people.
